Join us for the Indian Summer Festival, a cherished tradition in Hertford! Last year, we welcomed 2,400 attendees who came together to eat, shop, and celebrate on the market day of the event and we hope to grow that number this year. Don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of this amazing event!

Vendor Pricing:
All single booth sizes: 10'x10' - Multiple booths may be purchased/combined for one vendor space. All vendors will be listed on our vendors page with a photo or logo and one link to social media or website (if information is provided during registration).
Vendor Spaces: $40
Electricity for vendor space: $10 (limited availability)
Food trucks: $125
Electricity for Food trucks: $25 (limited availability)
Nonprofits: Free*

Vendor Rules & Regulations
Vendor Spaces

10’ x10’ is a vendor booth space (canopy, tables & chairs are not included). Additional spaces may be purchased and combined.

Electricity availability can be purchased for an additional fee. Limited availability. Vendor must provide own extension cord.

All vendor set-ups must be professional, structurally safe and aesthetically pleasing

Vendors must stay within their allotted booth space. (They may not encroach on other vendor’s spaces or occupy the road or sidewalk).

Booths may not be moved without permission from the Indian Summer Festival Committee.

Vendors must be open during all hours of market operation on Saturday

Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting their own taxes and must provide their NC Certificate of Registration # (Tax ID) at the time of registration for vendor spaces. Get one at www.ncdor.gov/registration.

Cottage food vendors are responsible for maintaining active approval from the NCDA&CS Food and Drug Protection Division and must only sell approved, low-risk, shelf-stable products.

Food trucks & Concession Stands must be permitted or get a temporary event permit from Albemarle Regional Health Services.

All nonprofit vendors must provide proof of nonprofit status.

No political booths, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, live animals or counterfeit merchandise.

Acceptance of registration is at the discretion of the Indian Summer Festival Committee.

Vendor cancellations after August 10th will result in forfeiture of 50% of the booth fee. Cancellations after August 31st will result in forfeiture of the full booth fee.

All vendors must weigh down and secure canopies, signage and other items added to their space to ensure safety in inclement weather/wind. Anchors may not be driven into the street.

Breaking down the booths early is not allowed and could disqualify you from participation in future events

Breaking down booths may not begin until the event closing time

Vendor grants the Downtown Hertford permission to use photographs or videos taken of the Vendor’s booth for future promotional purposes related to the Indian Summer Festival.
