Facade Improvement Grant
​​​
The Facade Improvement Grant is a 50% matching grant up to $2,500. It is intended to fund practical and architecturally appropriate facade renovations in Hertford's Historic Commercial District.

Grants are for the purpose of assisting in the renovation and enhanced appearance of commercial buildings within the boundaries of the Downtown Hertford Historic District

Downtown Hertford Guidelines must be adhered to in making improvements to the facade of the structure

Only exterior improvement projects are eligible to receive funding

Awnings: The approved colors for awnings are black, dark forest green and navy blue. Awnings with lettering will not be considered
